Our Vision

The vision of the Fisheries Directorate in Jharkhand focuses on achieving sustainable growth, ensuring fish-protein security, and maximizing rural employment through scientific aquaculture, infrastructure modernization, and capacity building. The department aims to transform the sector into a high-yield, technology-driven industry, enabling economic empowerment for fish farmers, Self Help Groups (SHGs), and youth.
