Our Vision

The dairy development vision in Jharkhand is centered on transforming the state into a self-reliant milk producer, improving rural livelihoods, and driving economic empowerment, particularly for women and smallholder farmers. The key focus is on creating a robust dairy ecosystem through modern technology, enhanced infrastructure, and increased milk production, aiming to transition from a milk-deficit state to a milk-surplus hub.

Our Mission

The Dairy Development mission in Jharkhand focuses on empowering rural livelihoods and enhancing milk production through cooperative models and state subsidies. The Directorate of Dairy Development conducts farmer trainings, calf rallies, and health camps (fertility camps) to increase awareness and productivity.
