About the Department
The Department of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry & Cooperative, Government of Jharkhand, is committed to promoting sustainable agricultural development, enhancing farmer prosperity, strengthening rural livelihoods, and fostering inclusive economic growth across the State.
The Department serves as the nodal agency for planning, implementation, and monitoring of programmes related to agriculture, horticulture, animal husbandry, dairy development, fisheries, cooperative development, natural resource management, agricultural mechanization, market linkages, and farmer welfare.
